We’re delighted to welcome you to our marina and want to make your stay as smooth and pleasant as possible.

Upon arrival, we kindly ask that you contact our harbour master as soon as possible at +32 478 52 12 60. If you’re planning your visit in advance, we recommend giving us a heads-up either by phone or via email: havenmeester@yachtingmerelbeke.be

The harbour master will assign you an appropriate berth for the night. While waiting for confirmation, you may temporarily moor at an available spot, as long as someone stays on board at all times.

The harbour master will take care of your registration, confirm your berth, handle payment, and provide you with a receipt.

Fresh drinking water is available from the taps on the docks—please bring your own hose.
Electricity is included in the mooring fee. The harbour master will show you the appropriate power connection point (CEE, 230V, max. 10 Amps).

The sanitary facilities are located next to the clubhouse, near the lock.
Inside, you’ll find toilets, showers, a washing machine, and a dryer.When you register, you will receive a code to access these amenities.

Our marina in Merelbeke is situated at a very strategic location-right at the junction of the River Scheldt and the Ringvaart canal. This offers direct access to the waterways toward Ghent, Oudenaarde, Bruges, and Antwerp.

Please note: the large lock on the Ringvaart in Merelbeke is a tidal lock. This means the Scheldt upstream of the lock is subject to tidal conditions. Yachting Merelbeke is a convenient stopover point where you can rest while waiting for the right tide—and you won’t be affected by tidal changes during your stay.

Need supplies? No problem! Supermarkets such as Albert Heijn and BricoPlanit are within walking distance, close to the KAA Gent football stadium. The location of both supermarket can be found on https://www.ah.be/winkel/3024

Our marina is also a great base for visiting the vibrant city of Ghent, or exploring the peaceful countryside of Merelbeke with its nature park, scenic walking and cycling routes, and interesting places like the local brewery "De Wilde Brouwers".
